Chronologically speaking, at 115 years old, Perrin Paris is one of the granddaddies of the French Revolution by Design. Sartorially speaking, it is just as spry as its younger counterparts, with the added advantage of its century old dedication to craftsmanship and luxury.

Perrin began as a fine leather glove maker at the cusp of the industrial revolution and through various transformations, evolutions and technological advancements, has arrived at its latest undertaking, a line of high-end leather bags.

Featured in the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the glove bag pictured above exhibits Perrin’s coalescence of its savvy for glove-making and its seasoned eye for tanning and crafting fine leather.

Enriched by age, yet attentive to innovation, Perrin’s bag collection is mostly black and brown, though splashes of acid rain green leather and the avant-garde intermixing of gloves keep it sharp and unpredictable.
