Using paper and sand to turn her photos into decorative objects, Anne Pierre Malval is a Paris-based designer specializing in vases, mirrors, and Mandarin candle- holders made of paper. Re-interpreting traditional decorative objects, and infusing them with inspiration from nature and from her photography, she creates vases that share elements of a birdfeeder and mirrors made of foam covered with recycled prints and pigment paints. Her works are all handmade in France, though available throughout Europe and Japan.
