San Francisco—With the help of the French Trade Commission, Shreve and Co. will host an exclusive trunk show of works by some of the finest contemporary French jewelers.
Joaillerie Contemporaine de France—New Work by the Modern Masters of French Jewelry Design opens to the public on Friday, Sept. 26, and continues the following day at the San Francisco retailer's historic Post Street store.
Collections by jewelers such as Philippe Comoy, Jean-Marc Garel, Garnazelle, Bachet Joallier, Marchak, Loris Paris, Mathon Paris, Alain Roure, Philippe Tournaire and Waskoll will be included in the show.
"We are honored to welcome Didier Janci, the French Trade Commissioner in San Francisco, and the remarkable French firms participating in the trunk show to the Bay Area," Shreve and Co. President Richard Horne said in a media release. "French designers have always been at the forefront of fashion design, setting trends, daring and alluring, and, above all, impeccably crafted."
A private reception will be held the evening of Sept. 25, with a number of designers on hand to introduce their collections. The show will be open to the public on Sept. 26 and 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
It will make stops in New York and Chicago prior to opening in San Francisco.
